WHY SHINE LOVE AND HOPE TO KENYAN YOUTH:
Ugali sees you as a conduit, a resource that could merge with these youth’s dreams to help expand their world. In return, this maybe a life changing experience to you, if humble enough to soak in how blessed you are in terms of resources. It is therefore our prayer that the dual mutuality of this relationship will lead to something greater and bigger than ourselves.
There is no doubt that their world is changing so fast before their eyes, and even though they see the outward appearances of things change, the fight is in their inner dimensions stemming from self-resist compounded by cultural differences. Their traditions are released slowly as new modes evolve and take root in their midst. All these explosive changes result in fractured spirits, major gender role shifts that leave deep confusion and a longing for a rooted existence in self. A theme that Ugali Youth is hoping to illuminate and help these youth transition in between the two worlds with ease.
Our programs serve young people and their families living in communities struggling to overcome prostitution, and consequently, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and high crime rates. By increasing school attendance and fostering learning, we help raise graduation rates, enabling youth to rise above their challenges and succeed.
Ubuntu philosophy empowers us, as a community, to tap into our human values and strive for the best in ourselves, bringing about healing and bridging the gaps that threaten the very core of our collective human existence.
At Ugali Youth, we believe that a mind enriched by creativity, confidence, and vision is a mind capable of achieving anything!

- $95 Monthly: Continuing Education Sponsorship
- $50 Annually: Mentoring Programs (e.g., Leadership Camps)
- $125 Annually: Nuru Center (clean water, food, and healthcare)
