Rosemary Wachera is a graduate of Daystar University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration and Management. She loves doing charity work, mentorship programs in schools, and prison ministry. She especially has a big heart for children and believes that every child is a gift from God and deserves to be loved, nurtured and treasured. She loves the smile and laugh of a child, their innocence, energy, curiosity, ability to love freely and forgive easily. She desires that her heart could be like that of a child untainted by worldly cares. Just as Christ joyfully laid down the infinite value of His own life so that we might know the immeasurable worth of being fully and unconditionally loved in Him. Foster care to her is a beautiful expression of the gospel. It calls for a selfless, costly and potentially painful love for the sake of a child gaining much as you willingly give all. As she labors to love with the love we received from Jesus, she does so in a cloud of uncertainties and unknowns, but with the confidence of one guarantee – it’s always worth giving the best of her humanity. |
